FYQs (Frequent Yogi Questions)
We know stepping into a yoga studio—whether for the first time or the hundredth—comes with plenty of questions. Do I need a mat? What should I wear? Will I suddenly be able to touch my toes? (Spoiler: Maybe!)

If you have them, please bring a mat, towel, and water. If you don’t have them, we do and we’ve got you covered.

Anything comfortable that you can move in.
We welcome: shorts, tees, tanks, sweats, palazzo pants, yoga gear, hippie-dippie stuff, tie-dye, your partner’s favorite tee from high school, stretchy jeans, what you have on right now, etc. Just make sure your bits are covered and that you can move around a little and you’re perfect!

Our teachers get pumped for a newbie and they know exactly what to do to make it a great first experience. Please let us know so we can be extra helpful. You’re in great hands here.

First, please consult your doctor on this one.
Then, tell your instructor in advance. We have so many ways to support and work with something tweaky & creaky. There are a million ways to do a pose and we are dedicated to finding the safest path for you.

First, it’s not a performance; there are no grades, no scores.
Second, by walking through the door, you are officially good at yoga. Getting through the door is the hardest part.
Third, if you can trying things, sweat, laugh, and breathe, then you are officially awesome at yoga!
